Lake Charles Trip, April 2011
We made this 8 day trip primarily to attend Bill's high School reunion (Lake Charles High School, class of '61).
On the way down, we stopped at:
- Poverty Point State Historic Site (a National Monument managed by the state)
- Columbia, LA (Schepis Museum art gallery and Watermark Saloon)
- Mamou (Cajun Music Capitol), and
- Gueydan (where Bill's great-grandparents are buried).
While in Lake Charles, we visited places where Bill once lived, attended school, and played.
